Joseph "Joe" A. Robinson, Sr., 68, of Bowling Green, MO and formerly of Troy, MO passed away on Monday, November 22, 2021 at Boone Cty. Hospital in Columbia, MO. He was born on March 24, 1953 in East St. Louis, Il  to Clarence and Louise (Goetz) Robinson and was raised in Cahokia, IL.   At the age of 11, the family moved from Illinois to Moscow Mills.  He lived there until he married the love of his life, Marsha Reading, on March 30, 1974 in Winfield.  They moved to Troy and this is where their two children, Joe Jr. and Erin were born.  The family attended Troy Assembly of God Church and were very active members.  During these years, Joe worked for Howe Richardson Scale Co, Moscow Mills Elevator, Sanderson Elevator in Olney and then Interstate Batteries.  After his retirement, he began working for McCoy-Blossom Funeral Homes & Crematory in Troy until the Robinsons moved to Bowling Green.  He then worked as a chauffeur for the Amish and thoroughly enjoyed his work.  His family said,  "Joe believed if a job needed to be done, he did it.  He was a caring, Godly man that loved people and would always  share his faith".  He always had a joke to keep everyone in good spirits.  He was a devoted member of Silex Assembly of God Church and appreciated his church Pastor Kenny Gamble and church members.  His family was of the utmost importance to him and he cherished each and everyone of them.

Surviving are his loving and devoted wife of over 47 years, Marsha Robinson; his adoring children: Joseph "Joe" and wife Kimberly Robinson Jr. and Erin and husband Ronnie Tate; his loving five grandchildren: Jodi Grace, Will, Isaiah, Lainie and Jett.  He is further survived by his brother, Lawrenc e and wife Sharon Robinson; his mother-in-law, Margaret Reading; his ,  brother-in-laws: Randall Root, Bud (Renee) Reading, Bryan (Teresa) Reading, David (Debbie) Reading; two nieces, eight nephews, great nephews, and nieces and cousins.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents; Clarence and Louise Robinson; his siblings: Ron and Connie Robinson, Louise Root and father-in-law, Bud Reading.

Visitation scheduled from 4-8p.m. on Friday, November 26, 2021 and also from 9a.m. until 12 noon on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at the McCoy-Blossom Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1304 Boone St., Troy, MO 63379 (636) 528-8244.

Funeral service scheduled at 12 noon on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at the McCoy-Blossom Funeral Homes & Crematory, Troy location.  Pastor Gray Nordan, former youth pastor of Troy Assembly, to officiate.

Interment to follow in Antioch Cemetery, Bowling Green.
