Joseph E. Griffin, 59, of Bowling Green, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 27, 2025 at his home, surrounded by family.  He was born on October 28, 1966, in Barstow, California, to James and Christine Griffin.  Joseph grew up with his siblings: Jimmy, Kathi, Debra, Connie and Bonnie in Barstow.

Joe had a love for music and sports.  At age 11, Joe's musical talents took him to the Middle East to tour and play Christian music where he shared his gifts across cultures.  Joe was a "fantastic drummer" and gifted guitarist/musician. He played on many sports teams and was offered a scholarship to any sport of his choice.  However, Joe decided his love for music outweighed his love for sports and decided to pursue other options.  He finally decided to become a master electrician and worked for the Colorado Dept. of Transportation.

Families remaining to cherish his memory are: Vicki (Mike) Brinson, Jim Griffin, Kathi Zwilling, Debra (David) Callan, Connie (Gary) Worland, Bonnie (Aaron) McCoy and many nephews and nieces.  He treasured each and every member of his family.

Joseph Griffin was preceded in death by his parents, James B. Griffin and Christine (Brooks) Griffin.
