Kathleen J. Tobin, 71, of Moscow Mills, MO, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, Jan. 28, 2023 at St. Louis University Hospital, St. Louis.  She was born on April 26, 1951 in Woodberry, Iowa to William and Elaine (Tillis) Trotter.  Kathleen was the second oldest of her four siblings and was raised in the Independence, MO area.  She was blessed with her son, Densel Brown Jr.  On Nov. 6, 1977, she married her soulmate, Daniel Tobin.  Kathleen had a love of all children and began working at the Growing Tree Preschool in Moscow Mills for about 15 years.  She thoroughly enjoyed her job and was a dedicated employee. Kathleen was a member of the Moscow Mills United Methodist Church and will be greatly missed and long remembered by all those who knew and loved her.

Surviving are her devoted husband, Daniel Tobin of Moscow Mills; her mother, Elaine Trotter of Moscow Mills; her children: Shawn (Susan) Tobin, Jeanine (Pat) Russel, Densel Brown Jr., Rachel Tobin; four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.  She is further survived by her four siblings: Mike Trotter, Danny (Cathy) Trotter, Brian Trotter; Laurie Trotter; other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, William Trotter.
