Kay Thompson, 65, of Troy, MO, passed away on January 23, 2022 at SSM-Lake St. Louis. She was born on February 15, 1956 in Flint, Michigan to Homer and Jean Thompson. Kay attended the local schools, along with her siblings. She  graduated from Fort Zumwalt High School and was a National DECA Champion. She later attended Meramec Community College and obtained an associates degree. Kay was united in marriage to Michael Freeman. To this union was born one son, Seth. Kay was an excellent caregiver in the home. She was a representative for Young Living and believed  in essential oils and their many uses. Kay was a talented seamstress and could make anything on her trusty sewing machine. She loved listening to gospel music. Kay had a servants heart and was always looking out for others. She will be sadly missed and long remembered by all those who knew and loved her.

Kay is survived by her son, Seth Freeman of Troy, her mother, Jean Thompson of Troy, granddaughter, Kiersten Freeman, sister, Donna and husband Thomas Sims of Maryland Heights, MO, loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Freeman, her father, Homer Thompson and her sisters, Charlotte Goldsmith and Shirley Thompson.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 29, 2022 from 12 p.m.- 3 p.m. at McCoy-Blossom Funeral Homes & Crematory,1304 Boone Street, Troy, MO, 63379.

Funeral- will also be held on Saturday, January 29, 2022 at 3 p.m. at McCoy-Blossom Funeral Homes & Crematory 1304 Boone Street Troy, MO 63379 Rev.
