LaWanda G. "Jenny" Smith,80, of Foristell, MO, passed away at St. Luke's Hospital, with her beloved husband by her side. She
was born on July 6, 1943 in Manila, Arkansas to John David and Bessie Mae (Milligan) Pierce. Jenny and Bill Smith were united
in marriage March 30, 1968 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Wentzville, MO. To this union were born two children; David
and Martha. Bill was in the military so the family moved around a lot, until they moved back to Missouri in 1986. Jenny was an
x-ray/ radiology tech at SSM Lake St. Louis for over 18 years. She was a dedicated employee and took good care of her
patients. Some of her hobbies were; watching the St. Louis Cardinals, sewing, reading and she loved to garden. Jenny was atalented cook, two of her specialties were; green tamale pie and chicken and dumplings.

She is survived by her beloved husband of almost 56 years, William "Bill Smith of Foristell, MO, two children; David Warren
and wife Tina Marie Smith of McCalla, Alabama and Martha "Marty" Benson and John Watson of Hawk Point, MO,
grandchildren, Ashley Marie Powell, Samantha Jo Benson and Alexandra "Alex" Boyd and one great-grandchild on the way,
many other relatives and friends.

Jenny was preceded in death by her parents and seven of her siblings.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 7, 2024 from 1 p.m.- 3 p.m. at McCoy-Blossom Funeral Homes & Crematory
