Lee Allen
Wyffels
Nov 24, 1949 — Jul 7, 2026
Troy
Lee Allen Wyffels was born on Thanksgiving Day, November 24,1949 in Tracy, MN to the late Arnold and Evangeline (Dubbeldee) Wyffels and was raised there as one of 10 children.
At the age of 17, Lee's family moved to northern MN where they started a cattle ranch operation. While there, he attended an agricultural technical college and at this time was reunited with his Tracy High School friend, Renee Eggen.
In September 1978, Lee and Renee were united in marriage at the American Lutheran Church in Windom, MN. After marriage, they moved back to Pillager, MN to help at the family ranch, and in October 1980, their daughter Allison was born.
A couple years later, they moved to Defiance, MO where Lee managed a cattle farm for a decade. They then moved to Troy, MO where he raised a small herd of pure-bred Tarentaise cattle and held various positions that complimented his many skills before ultimately establishing his own truck transporting business which enabled him to fuel his passion for adventure by travelling across America and visiting nearly every state in the country.
Lee retired in 2016. He will be remembered for his pride in taking care of his acreage, curiosity, continuous problem-solving, creativity, thoughtfulness, gardening, love of music and nature and spending time with his family.
Lee passed away at St. Joseph Hospital in Lake St. Louis, MO on Tuesday, July 7, 2026 at the age of 76.
