Linda Dale Davis,married to Danny Lee Davis, passed peacefully in her home Thursday morning, January 16, 2025. She was married to Danny at the age of seventeen;  they spent nearly 60 years of marriage together in love, devoting themselves to each other and their family in Louisiana, MO. She joins her children, Karren Davis and Danny Davis II, whom she missed dearly, along with her family members.

Linda is survived by her very loving and doting husband, Danny, beloved daughter, Janet (Gustire) Davis- Burse, granddaughters, Susan Minor and Savannah Boehlein. She is also survived by her siblings, Iona Henderson, Becky Christman, Brenda (Rick) Adams, Nellie Rousan, Morris Lawson, Sylvia Lawson and Mike Lawson.

Born to Paul and Iona (Bunker) Lawson on June 8, 1958, Linda was the third of fourteen children. In her youth, she loved to dance and make candy with her family, as well as spending time in her church and with her sisters. A cook for the Pike County Memorial Hospital, Pike Pioneer Nutrition Center and BONCL School District, Linda made sure everyone was well fed and was well known as the chef in the family. As her health started to decline, she left BONCL and remained at home where she enjoyed spending time with her family and continued to practice as a very skilled seamstress. Linda made sure that everyone that came through her door knew they were loved and cared for. She will be sadly missed and long remembered by all those who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 28, 2025 from 1 p.m.- 4 p.m. at McCoy-Blossom Funeral Homes & Crematory 701  Business Hwy 61 North  Bowling Green, MO 63334, (1636) 528-8244.

Funeral Service will also be held on Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at 4 p.m. at McCoy-Blossom Funeral Homes & Crematory 701 Business Hwy 61 North Bowling Green, MO  Family to officiate.
