Linda Rene Gimbel 66, of Troy, MO, passed away on November 3, 2021 at SSM- Lake St. Louis. She was born on September 25,
1955 in Charlavoi, Pennsylvania. Linda attended the local schools along with her siblings and graduated from Belle Vernon High School in Pennsylvania.

She and Thomas Gimbel were united in marriage and to this union were born two girls, Dana and Dione. Linda was a remarkable orthodontic assistant for over 21 years for Dr. Bunsick. She was well respected and met many people over the years. Linda always had a smile and greeting when you came in the office. She was later married to George Copenhaver on December 23, 2006 and they made their home in Troy. Linda loved flower gardening and raising caterpillars into beautiful butterflies. She loved spending time with her husband, children, grandchildren and great- grandchildren and will be sadly missed and long remembered
by all those who knew and loved her.

Linda is survived by her beloved husband, George Copenhaver of Troy, children, Dana (Jamey) Baker of Troy, Dione Gimbel of
Cape Girardeau, Christy (David) Smith of Troy, Tyler Copenhaver of Troy and Stacey (Deborah) Copenhaver of Nashville, TN, seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, siblings, Kevin (Joy) Hall of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and Carla (Jim) Barbarossa of Valpariso, Indiana.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Arrangements are going to be at Harvester Christian Church in
Troy, Mo at 11am on Saturday November 20, 2021. (Family will be conducting services.) Rev. Gus Vega to officiate.
