Lonnie C. Hupp, 75, of Troy, Missouri, passed away on Monday, Feb. 26, 2024 at SSM, Lake St. Louis.  He was born on June 14, 1948 in Poplar Bluff to Melvin and Mildred (Becker) Hupp.  Lonnie grew up with his six siblings and was raised primarily in Troy.  He graduated from Troy Buchanan High School.  After graduation he served in the U.S. Navy and he then began working  for Chrysler Corp. as a millwright  in Fenton, retiring after many years of dedicated service.

On April 3, 1976,  he was married to his sweetheart, Marlene Mordt.  To this union were born two children:  Kimberly and Carl.  The family continued to live in Troy.  Lonnie was a member of St. Stephen United Methodist for many years.  He raised Beagles and enjoyed fishing with family and friends.  Lonnie loved spending time with his family and cherished  everyone of them.  He will be greatly missed and long remembered by all those who knew and loved him.

Surviving are his beloved wife,  Marlene Hupp of Troy; his son, Carl Hupp of Warrenton; his four brothers: Charles Hupp of  Ellisnore, MO, Randy (Doris) Hupp of Warrenton, Jerry Hupp of Troy, Nathan Hupp of Troy and his sister, Martha Saiedy-Nami of Germany; other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Kimberly Hupp and his sister, Louise Foster.

Visitation is scheduled from 4-7 p.m. on Friday, March 8, 2024 at the McCoy-Blossom Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1304 Boone St., Troy, MO 63379 (636) 528-8244

A Memorial service is scheduled at 7 p.m. on Friday, March 8,2024 at the McCoy-Blossom Funeral Homes & Crematory, Troy location.  Rev. Dr. Jeff Moore to officiate.
