Lucille Leona Rothermich,88, of Troy, Missouri, passed away on Monday, February 3, 2025 at Sugar Creek Assisted Living in Troy. She was born on September 14, 1936 in Josephville to Joseph and Evelyn (Hemmer) Wortmann.  Lucille attended the local schools. She was united in marriage with Eugene  Rothermich on June 27, 1959 in Josephville. To this union were born five children; Richard, Beverly, Daniel, Susan and Melinda. Lucille was an excellent homemaker and loved taking care of her family. She was a devoted member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and St. Ann's Sodality. Some of her hobbies were:  quilting, embroidering, bowling, reading and making clothes for her family. Lucille will be sadly missed and long remembered by all those who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her loving children, Richard ( Marsha) Rothermich of Troy, MO, Beverly (Paul) Niehoff of Silex, MO, Susan (Mark) Scott of Wentzville, MO and Melinda (Mike) Poignee of Troy, MO; grandchildren, Diana, Kyle, Tyler, Ryan, Lauren, Lindsey, Allen, Aaron, Emily, Lera, Katie, Ethan;  great-grandchildren, Louie, Shea, Oliver, Nolan, Case, Colten, Laney, Mason, Michael, Miller, Henry and Nora, many other relatives and friends.

Lucille was preceded in death by her  parents; her son, Daniel Rothermich, and her beloved husband, Eugene.

Visitation to be held on Saturday, February 8, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 100 Thompson Drive, Troy, MO, 63379.

A funeral mass also to be held on Saturday, February 8, 2025, 11:00 a.m. , at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Troy.  Fr. Edward Voltz officiated.
