M. Roberta McElrath, 78, of Troy, Missouri, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at SSM West Lake St. Louis. She was born on July 16, 1944 in Troy to John and Laura (Donnely) Norton. At the age of 16, she married her sweetheart, Glenn McElrath on Oct. 24,1960. To this union were born four children: Shari, Larry, Jeri and Cheryl. Roberta was a stay-at-home mother who was nurturing and loving to her family. She was the type of mother everyone would wish to have.

Roberta is survived by her three daughters: Shari Mathews of Troy, Jeri Lyn of Louisiana, Cheryl and husband Joshua Davis of Louisiana; her four loving grandchildren: Cole Conder, Cory Conder, Amber Shocklee, Kendall Mathews; and two adoring great-grandchildren: Graham and Gia.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Larry McElrath and her three siblings.

Graveside service to be held at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, April 28, 2023 at Bray Cemetery in Troy.
