Marion Gladys Williamson, 100, of Troy, MO, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 9, 2022 at Troy Manor.  She was born on May 17, 1922 in LaPlata to Marion and M. Edith Williamson. Gladys was raised in LaPlata and after high school graduation,she began working for Bergman Auto Parts as an office manager.  During these years, she had been a member of LaPlata American Legion,  Rebekah's Lodge, and the Methodist Church.  Gladys enjoyed nature and liked to be outdoors.  In her later years, she moved to Missouri to be closer to her niece, Pam Colson and family.  When her health diminished, she resided at Troy Manor.  She will be greatly missed and long remembered by all those who knew and loved her.

Surviving are her loving family members: her niece, Pam and Steven Colson and her nephew, Blake Williamson; her great-nephews: Andy Colson and Ryan Colson; other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her two siblings: Frank and Esther Williamson.

Inurnment will be private in LaPlata Cemetery at a later date.
