Obituary

Mary "Anthea" Adam, 39, of Troy, MO, passed away on October 16, 2022. Mary Anthea (McCravy) Adam was born on December 27th, 1982 to Mary Dawn (McCravy) Stewart and Charles G. Clemmons. She was united in marriage to Paul Joseph Adam and was blessed with two children, Michael Joseph and Krista Grace. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Ronald M. And Mary L. McCravy, and her father Charles G. Clemmons.

Mary Anthea is survived by her children, Michael Joseph Adam of Eolia, Missouri, Krista Grace Adam of Eolia, Missouri, friend and ex husband Paul Joseph Adam, mother Mary Dawn McCravy Stewart, partner Jim Bishop, and a host of friends, co-workers and family.
Anthea (Annie) had many varied interests. She loved to read, design fashion and sew, paint, cook, sing karaoke, crochet but by far, her favorite was to debate. She loved a great argument! Sometimes she won and others she didn't, but she liked the challenge of proving herself right! She also loved playing Monopoly! Many people did not know that Anthea was an incredible fisherman and gifted in logical math such as calculus. She had potential to be an engineer at one point in time. She adored her children and was extremely proud of each of their accomplishments. She often spoke of how much she loved them and hoped for great things in their future. Mary Anthea was also widely traveled in her younger years. She was able to visit 43 states, Canada and Mexico with her grandparents. She was well versed in the history of the Oregon trail, the Boston Tea Party and very familiar with Independence Hall. She was extremely knowledgeable in many things but chose to quietly reveal them to those closest to her. She was a loyal friend and her desire was to help people in anyway possible. She will be deeply missed.
