Mary Helen Bray, 84, of Troy, MO,  passed away at her residence on April 23, 2022.  Mary Helen was born on September 2, 1937 to Clem and Mildred (Wells) Jones.  Mary Helen grew up in Briscoe with her five siblings and graduated from Troy Buchanan High School.  On June 30, 1956, Mary Helen married Ben Bray and they moved to St. Louis.  They later moved to Briscoe to raise their three children:  Beverly, Bennett, and Billy.

Mary Helen loved to travel and had particularly fond memories of the "old cabin" in Colorado.  During retirement, Mary Helen and Ben also enjoyed Hawaiian and Alaskan cruises and a trip through Canada and New England.  Mary Helen also spent many years ministering at several nursing homes and working on a card ministry and sent cards of encouragement, prayers, and hope.

Surviving is her husband of 65 years, Ben Bray; son, Bennett and wife Gene Bray;  grandchildren:  Luke (and Star), Kelly (and Matt), Daniel, Kristen (and John), Autumn (and Cody), and great-grandchildren: Nicholas, Vela, Isabelle, Tiernan, Amelia, and Lucas.

Mary Helen was preceded in death by her daughter,  Beverly Roberts (Bray), son Billy Bray, and parents: Clem and Mildred Jones.

Visitation will be held on Saturday,  April 30, 2022 from 10 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at Troy First Assembly of God Church,  Troy, MO 63379
Funeral Service will be held on Saturday,  April 30, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Troy First Assembly of God Church,  Troy, MO 63379.  Officiating:  Rev. Joseph Britain.
