Mary Ann Dowell, 81, of Moscow Mills, MO, passed away on December 28, 2024 at SSM- Lake St. Louis Hospital. She was born on February 11, 1943 in Portage De Sioux, Missouri to Harley and Mabel (Lehfol) Mitchell. Mary Ann attended the local schools, along with her siblings. She was employed in different factories over the years, but her last job was working in the laundry at SSM-Lake St. Louis. Mary Ann was united in marriage in 1999 with Wayne "Possum" Dowell in Warrenton, MO. They had a happy home and Mary Ann loved to take care of her yard and her home. She was an outdoors person and loved to listen to the birds sing and other sounds of nature. She will be sadly missed and long remembered by all those who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Wayne "Possum" Dowell of Moscow Mills, MO, step-children, Terry and and Karen Dowell of Center, MO, David (Tara) Parker of St. Charles, MO, grandson,  Hunter Dowell step-grandchildren,  Ryan Parker, Megan Parker, Cara Nagy and Thomas O'Hearn, siblings, Bernice Morris of St. Charles, MO and Sylvia (Rick) Vaughan of Foristell, MO and many other relatives and friends.

Mary Ann was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings, Buddy Mitchell, Glen Mitchell, Rose Marie Cross and one step-daughter, Tracey Parker.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2025 from 1 p.m.- 4 p.m. at McCoy-Blossom Funeral Homes & Crematory 1304 Boone Street Troy, MO 63379

Memorial Service will also be held on Sat. Jan. 4, 2025 at 4 p.m. at McCoy-Blossom Funeral Homes & Crematory 1304 Boone Street Troy, MO 63379
