Mary Kathryn Jackson, 72, of Troy, MO, passed away on November 9, 2025, at her residence. She was born on July 21, 1953, in Stickney, Illinois the daughter of Thomas F. and Mary L (Swartzel) Korinek. After attending the local schools, she graduated from Hinsdale High School.  Mary then married the love of her life, Gary W.  Jackson, August 19, 1972 and the rest is history. The happy couple was blessed with two children: Berri Anne, and Stacy A. Jackson. Mary worked for many years as an administrative assistant at the Messiah Lutheran Church in Joliet, Illinois where she was also a member.  She was a dedicated wife, and mother, and her family was always her first priority. In her spare time Mary enjoyed quilting, crocheting, sewing and collecting Jim Shore collectibles. Mary was actively involved with Girl Scouts for over 8 years, when her daughter was young. She will be remembered lovingly by all those who knew her.

Mary is survived by her beloved husband, Gary W. Jackson of Troy, her children: Berri Ann (Mike Thum) West of Webster Groves, MO, Stacy A. (Aimee Costello) Jackson of Morris, Illinois, grandchildren: Allan J. Jackson, Raegen M. Jackson Carik and Shelby N. West, as well as many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by, her parents, and brother Richard Korinek.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, Nov. 23, 2025, 2 p.m. at the McCoy-Blossom Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1304 Boone St, Troy, MO, 63379, 636-528-8244. Rev.
