Michael W. Elben,72, of Troy, MO, passed away on January 29, 2022 at his home in Troy, MO. He was born on April 29, 1949 in St. Louis, MO to Lincoln and Phyllis ( Dean ). Mike attended the local schools with his siblings and later graduated from St. Charles Community College with a degree in communications . In 1965, he met Mary ( Martell ) and they were later married on November 13, 1967 in Las Vegas, Nevada. To this union were born two children; Charlene and Michele Rose, and through adoption; Debbie . Mike was an auto worker at Chrysler for over 32 years and provided a good living for his girls. Early in their married life, Mike and Mary loved to take long rides on their motorcycles. Later in life, they enjoyed playing golf together, especially at Sun Valley in Elsberry. Mike also went on the be the caretaker of the greens at Sun Valley for a number of years. He was a musician who loved all types of music . He loved to sing and play ing different instruments . Mike looked forward to spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren as often as he could.

Mike is survived by his daughter s , Charlene (Gaylon) Hill of St. Charles, Mo, Debbie Woodard and family of St. Louis, grandchildren, Darrell Mozee of Troy, MO, Jessica Mozee of St. Louis , MO, great-grandchildren, Roosevelt , Christian, Kayden and Legacy, h is sisters, Brenda Kenney and Linda Wilson , brother and sisters-in-law s , nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Mike was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Elben, a daughter, Michele Rose Elben , Brother David, sister Penelope, and his parents.

Memorial Visitation - Saturday, February 12, 2022 from 4 p.m.- 5 p.m. at McCoy-Blossom Funeral Homes & Crematory 1304 Boone Street Troy, MO 63379
