Richard "Rick" Dale Beck Sr, 68, of Troy , MO, passed away on June 27, 2022 at SSM-St. Charles, MO from Legionnaires Disease. He was born on October 16, 1953 in Troy, MO to Clarence and Juanita (Horst) Beck. Rick and his brother, Roger attended the local schools in Scott City, MO until Rick's Junior year of high school when they moved to Silex, MO. Rick graduated from Silex High School. He and Sandy (Fleming) were united in marriage on June 14, 1996 at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Millwood, MO. Rick worked at Jones & Vining and later Bodine Aluminum from 1994-2015 working in Machine Maintenance. He was always a conscientious employee who never missed a day of work. Rick and Sandy went to car shows all over together, Rick always had to be the first in line and stayed all day. They went to flea markets, antique shops all over the state, looking for gas pumps, Coca-Cola nostalgia and signs. He was very meticulous and restored Street Rods and anything else his family brought to him. Rick's favorite movie was "American Graffiti"; and his music of choice was, "The Beach Boys". He was a caring, loving husband who prepared a cup of tea for Sandy each morning. Rick was an animal lover who fed all the local squirrels, raccoons and possums, until it got to be too much. He had two special cats, Gus and Beau, who was a rescue cat.  Rick enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He will be sadly missed and long remembered by all those who knew and loved him.

Rick is survived by his wife of 26 years, Sandy Beck of Troy, MO, his daughter, Jena Beck, three grandchildren, Lexi Frye, Hayden Frye and Dakota Beck, one great-grandson, Manny Arreola;  brother, Roger Beck of Silex, MO;  father and mother-in-law, John and Connie Fleming of Silex, MO, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his son, Richard Beck Jr. and his parents, Clarence and Juanita Beck.

Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, July 5, 2022, 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., at the McCoy-Blossom Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1304 Boone Street, Troy, MO, 63379, 636-528-8244.

A memorial service to also be held on Tuesday, July 5, 2022, at 12:30 p.m., at the funeral home in Troy.
