Richard "Rick" G. Lutz, 66, of St. Peters, MO,  passed away at his home on October 9, 2022 with his loving wife and children by his side. He was born on October 25, 1955 in St. Louis, MO to Walter B.  and Shirley Jean (Elz) Lutz. He attended the local Catholic schools with his six siblings. Rick and Denise (Dieckow) were united in marriage on December 12,1975 in St. Louis, MO. To this union were born two children; Jennifer Marie and Richard G. Lutz Jr. Rick was a talented furniture restorer and worked for Seabaugh Furniture and Decorating Co. Inc. in Glencoe, MO  and Rothschilds Antiques in St. Louis, MO. Rick was described by his family as being quiet with a spectacular dry wit. He loved history, bringing furniture back to it's original glory  and making dollhouses. Rick fought like a warrior with esophageal cancer but could fight no longer when it metastasized to the liver.  He was a very kind man , who always sacrificed for his family.

Rick is survived by his beloved wife, Denise Lutz of St. Peters, MO, two children, Jennifer Marie Masters of St. Peters, MO and Richard G. Lutz Jr., two grandchildren, Alexander Joseph Masters and Kaitlyn Marie Masters, siblings, Steve and Tom Lutz of Destin, FL and Doug Lutz of Tennessee. Also his mother-in-law (who thought he walked on water) Almarie Dieckow, sister-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, other relatives and friends.
