Robert (Bruce) Wright, 76, of Troy, MO, passed away on April 26, 2022. He was born on January 16, 1946, in St. Louis, MO, the child of Wilbur and Erline (Cooper) Wright. After attending the local schools, he then obtained his Associates degree. On October 8, 1966, at Bethel Baptist Church, he married the love of his life, Judy Treu. The happy couple was blessed with 5 beautiful children: Timothy, Thomas, Joseph, Eileen, and Patricia. Bruce worked for over 35 years in computer security, and enjoyed his line of work. He never met a stranger and was friendly to all. His first priority was the Lord and his family. Bruce was a very articulate man and he enjoyed completing crossword puzzles. He was a trivia buff and was always giving the family information from his V.F.O.G.I (vast fund of general information). Bruce loved dogs and just recently got a very special black/white little fluffy dog named Sarah. She was his faithful lap dog and she loved him too. He really loved all dogs and was such a compassionate person. Bruce loved cars and he loved watching Cardinal baseball. He will be remembered lovingly by all those who knew him.

Bruce is survived by his beloved wife, Judy Wright of Troy, MO, their children: Timothy Wright and his wife, Cynthia of Florissant, MO, Thomas Wright and his wife, Tammie of St. Peters, MO. Joseph Wright and his wife, Jennifer,  of Lee Summit, MO, Eileen Reppel and her husband, Christopher of Anchorage, Alaska, and Patricia Krantz and her husband, Andrew of Victoria, MN, grandchildren: Chelsea, Tim Jr., Shelby, Taylor, Sophie, David, Noah, Jenna, Joshua, Micah, Charlotte, and Chloe, his brother; David Wright and his wife, Cathy of Washington, MO, his sister; Sharon Gray and her husband, Bob, of Cabool, MO, as well as many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother, Ricky Wright.

Visitation to be held on Saturday, May 7, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m., at the Troy First Baptist Church, 1000 Elm Tree Road, Troy, MO, 63379.

A funeral service to be held on Saturday, May 7, 2022, 2:00 p.m., also at the church in Troy, MO.  Rev.
