Ronald B. DeGrande, 69, of Troy, Missouri, passed away on Monday, April 20, 2026 at his residence.  He was born on July 1, 1956 in St. Louis to Clifford and Theresa (Kolis) DeGrande. Ronald liked listening to 70's music as well as country music, especially Johnny Cash and Barry White.  Watching the soap opera, "Dark Shadows" was a must for him. Playing with blocks was a daily routine for him; he was so patient and loved playing with them each day. Ronald was a sweet person who had a wonderful smile. He was very loved at Community Opportunities and by his host family.

Surviving are His host mother, Rita Miller of Troy who took loving care of him for over 20 years. Ronald is also survived by Rita's other family members: Erica Ashton, Kaycee (Austin) Long, David Ashton, Brennen (Leon) Long; Community Opportunities friends and Steadfast friends. He is further survived by his two sisters.

Ronald was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Elaine DeGrande.
