Sally Jane Poorman,84, of Troy, MO, passed away on Friday, October 6, 2023 at Lincoln County Nursing and Rehab Troy, MO.  She was born on November 9, 1938 in St. Louis City to Charles M. and Peggy V. (Perry) Sattell. Sally attended the local schools and graduated from Webster Groves High School. She met Carl E.  Poorman at a basketball game and they were later married on November 30, 1957 in Webster Groves, MO. To this union were born:  Peggy, Michelle, Traci and Michael. They raised their family in St. Louis County until 1978  when they moved to Oklahoma. In 2005, Sally and Carl moved to Troy, MO to enjoy country living. While she was growing up, Sally loved riding horses and always loved animals. She was an outgoing lady, who never met a stranger. Her husband, children, grandchildren and extended family were very important to her and she looked forward to family special occassions.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Carl Poorman of Troy, MO, children; Peggy Poorman of Troy, MO, Michelle Poorman of Moscow Mills, MO, Traci L. Holt of Moscow Mills, MO and Michael Poorman and wife Stephanie Poorman of Jenks, OK, grandchildren; Katelyn, Hannah, Sarah and Joshua, many other family and friends.

Sally was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Peggy Sattell.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 12, 2023 from 11 a.m.- 11 30 a.m. at McCoy-Blossom Funeral Homes & Crematory 1304 Boone Street Troy, MO 63379
