Sandra Ann Thompson,57, passed away on October 17, 2022, surrounded by her loving family at Mercy Hospital- St. Louis, MO. She was born on September 22, 1965 in St. Louis, MO to Edward and Karen (Benner) Leonard. Sandra attended the local schools with her two siblings and graduated from Fort Zumwalt High School. She was a very talented craftsperson. Sandra could cross stitch and do diamond dots, many of these beautiful creations she shared with her family as gifts. She was outgoing and would make friends wherever she went. Sandra had a great smile and an infectious laugh. Her first priority was always taking care of others. She was a loving daughter, sister, aunt to her family , Sandra will be sadly missed and long remembered.

She is survived by her parents, Karen and husband Danny Lee of Winfield and Edward and wife Terry Leonard of Farmington, siblings; Mike (fiancé Kim Tungate) Leonard of Ferguson, Shannon and husband Matt Burkemper of Elsberry and Jennifer Vawter of Barnhart,  many loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Sandra was preceded in death by her grandparents.

Memorials may be made to Robertson Center or All Among Us Inc. in c/o the funeral home.

The family will be hosting a visitation and sharing of memories on Sunday, October 23, 2022 from 12 p.m.- 4 p.m. at McCoy-Blossom Funeral Homes & Crematory

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
