Sara R. Galati, 45, of Troy, MO, passed away on October 11, 2025 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Peters, MO. She was born February 26, 1980 in St. Charles, MO to Richard and Christine (Pevey) Wall. Sara attended the local schools, along with her two sisters, Jenny and Michelle. After high school graduation, she went on to attend college and earned both Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Education. She met  and later married the love of her life, Andrew Galati. To this union were born two children, Tiffany and Ryan. Sara had been employed with the Lincoln County R-III school district for over 25 years, as a special education teacher. She loved her job, students and teachers she worked with. The Galati family went on many vacations during the summers and they enjoyed the time they spent together; hiking, exploring and fishing. The last vacation the family took together was to Arizona for Christmas this past year, they had a wonderful time together. Sara is described by her family as, "selfless, kind, loving, caring and a devoted wife and mother." She was looking forward to becoming a grandmother in February 2026.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Andrew Galati of Troy, MO, two children, Tiffany ( fiancé Richie Roberts) Galati of Troy, MO, and Ryan ( Kaylin Dennis) Galati of Troy, MO, her mother, Christine Wall of St. Charles, MO, two sisters, Jenny (Jared) Kaiman of Troy, MO and Michelle Wall of Winfield, MO, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends and her  two four- legged companions.

Sara was preceded in death by her father, Richard Wall.

A visitation to be held on Thursday, October 16, 2025, 3:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., at the McCoy-Blossom Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1304 Boone Street, Troy, MO, 63379, 636-528-8244 .

A funeral mass will be held by the family, Friday, October 17, 2025, 11:00 a.m. , at the St. Joseph Catholic Church, Cottleville, MO.
