Scott "Scooter" A. Gore, age 62, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, Aug. 11, 2022 at SSM – Lake St. Louis.  He was born in St. Louis, MO  on Nov. 18, 1958 to Albert and Patricia (Mathews) Gore.  Scott grew up with his older siblings: Debbie, Butch, Vickie and his younger sister, Susan.  During high school, he enjoyed playing hockey and also liked to fish, watch college football and Indy races.  He was known for his BBQ and his skills as a chef, both cooking and baking.  On Oct. 11, 1986, he married his sweetheart,  Beverly (Hassell).  To this union was born their son, Nick, who was Scott's pride and joy.  Scooter, as he was known, was an over-the-road truck driver for USXL in Foristell.  He liked to listen to Blues music along with Charlie Daniels music.  Scott will be greatly missed and long remembered by all those who knew and loved him.

Surviving are his devoted wife of over 36 years of marriage, Beverly Gore of Troy; his loving son and family: Nick (Kimberly) Gore and three granddaughters: Anna, Amy and Aliyah.  He is further survived by his three siblings: Butch Gore of O'Fallon, MO, Debbi Holleran of Chesterfield, Susan Autry of Troy, MO; other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Vickie Kunkle.

Visitation scheduled on Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2022 from 3-7p.m. at the McCoy-Blossom Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1304 Boone St., Troy, MO 63379 (636) 528-8244.
