Steve Sherwood,56, of O'Fallon, MO, passed away on September 30, 2022 in Nashville, TN. He was born on Feb. 1, 1966 in Contra Costa,  California to Ernest and Carol (Goss) Sherwood. He attended the local schools with his siblings. Steve enlisted early in the U.S. Navy and proudly served his county. He was blessed with three children, Stephen, Samuel and Kayla. Steve had worked as a chef at SSM- Wentzville for the last three years. Steve took his job very seriously and never missed a day of work. He was described by his family as "outgoing and soft spoken with a good sense of humor. He could make a delicious four course meal out of whatever was in your pantry. Steve could often be found fishing, cooking, bowling and spending time with his family. He was Kayla's favorite person in the world. Steve  will be sadly missed and long remembered by all those who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his children, Stephen Sherwood and Kayla Sherwood of O'Fallon, MO, two grandchildren, Evelyn and Aubrey, two siblings, Theresa and Ernest Jr., nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Steve was preceded in death by his mother and his son, Samuel Sherwood.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 14, 2022 from 4 p.m.- 8 p.m. at McCoy-Blossom Funeral Homes & Crematory 1304 Boone Street Troy, MO 63379
