Thomas (Tom) J. Hurley, 82, of Troy, MO, passed away on Sunday, March 6, 2022 at his home in Troy, MO. He was born on July 5, 1939 in Syracuse, New York to John R. and Anna M. (Durham) Hurley. Tom attended the local schools with his siblings and obtained his Master's Degree in Engineering . He and Janet ( Mennem e ier ) were united in marriage on May 31, 1997 in New Melle , MO. Tom worked in the foundry business for 47 years, 26 years at Bodine in Troy, MO.

He is survived by his wife, Janet Hurley of Troy, MO, children, Thomas J. Hurley Jr., Maureen Hurley, Sheila (Earl) D iRie , Susan (Thomas) J ae ger, Amy (Leonard) Kemna , and Jaime (Jeremy) Carroz ; ten grandchildren : Jason and Courtney Jaeger, Brendan, Erin and Katelyn DiRie , Nolan, Gabe, Mariel and J u de Kemna , and Spencer Carroz , and a great-granddaughter Riley O'Shaughnessy, his siblings : Timothy Hurley, William (Debra) Hurley, Patrick (Michelle) Hurley, Randy (Rosalie) Mennem e ier , Danny (Suzanne) Mennem e ier , Susan (Thomas) Tokaryk , Gretchen (Charles) Sprock , Marguerite (Francis) Sanzone , Linda (Steve) S c hulze, Lisa (Nancy) Mennem e ier - Bartz , and many nieces, nephews, great- nieces, great-nephews, other relatives and friends.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents, brother, John Hurley Jr. and sister-in-law, Kathleen Hurley.

Visitation will be held on Wed. March 9, 2022 from 9:00 a.m.- 11 a.m. at McCoy-Blossom Funeral Homes & Crematory 1304 Boone Street Troy, MO 63379
