Timothy "Tim" Lee Runkles, 68, of Troy, MO passed away on Thursday, June 23, 2022 at Mercy Lincoln Hospital in Troy, MO.  He was born on February  7, 1954, in Troy, the son of Louis W. and Lily Mae (Hartley) Runkles. Tim's early years were spent in the Troy area where he attended Sacred Heart Catholic School and  Troy Buchanan High School in Troy. Following his education, he worked at Pepsi-Cola Manufacturing in Warrenton. Later in Tim's life, he served the community with his maintenance skills. He worked at Sacred Heart School and was currently employed at St. Alphonsus Catholic School in Millwood. Tim enjoyed playing guitar, cooking, and watching Hallmark movies. He would meet his brothers every morning for coffee at  Zaddock's Restaurant. Tim will be remembered lovingly by all those who knew him.

He is survived by his dear sons: Tim Runkles II (Tiffany Randall) of St. Clair, and Matt Simpson and his wife, Rachel of Lawrenceburg, Kentucky; his beloved grandchildren: Cody Runkles, Hannah Runkles, Tyler Simpson, Kyle Simpson, two great-grandchildren; two brothers:  Louis (Louie) Wm III,  and Joe Runkles and his wife, Angie; sister-in-law, Kathy Runkles; and close friend, Brenda (Blackwell) Runkles, as well as many other relatives and a host of friends.

Tim was preceded in death by his parents,  Louis and Lily Runkles and his brother, John Runkles

Visitation  scheduled for Tuesday, June 28, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.,  at the McCoy-Blossom Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1304 Boone Street, Troy, MO, 63379, 636-528-8244.

A Memorial Service scheduled on Wednesday, June 29, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. also at the funeral home in Troy. Memorials may be made to the donor's choice c/o of McCoy-Blossom Funeral Homes & Crematory, Troy location.  Fr. Chuck Ticachek to officiate.
