Tony Joseph "Joe" Adler Sr., 78, of Hawk Point, MO, passed away on January 31, 2024 at home, surrounded by his loving family and beloved dog.  He was born on April 7, 1945 in St. Louis, Missouri to Anthony and Rosemary (Fennessey) Adler.  He was united in marriage with Gwendolyn "Penny" and to this union were born; Tony, Joe, Connie and Michelle.  Joe was a dedicated team member & leader for Graham Packaging his entire career.  In his off time he loved hunting and fishing and was accomplished at both.  For many years, the family had a cabin at Mark Twain Lake where he could enjoy both hobbies and time with family and friends. He will be greatly missed and long remembered by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by two children; Tony Joseph Adler Jr. (Dorothy) of Hazelwood, Missouri and Michelle Adams (Paul) of Hawk Point, Missouri, five grandchildren:  Missy , Brandon, Crystal, Dustin and Tyler, great-grandchildren; Scarlett, Isabella, Emma, Tayler, Brandon Jr., Gracie, Faith, Melissa, Kaylee, Jackson, Jayson and Ryann, siblings; Patty Suchland and Shirley Lindemann.

Joe was preceded in death by his wife (Penny), daughter (Connie), son (Joe), grandson (Joe/Joe Boy), and sister (Barbara Meyers).

Memorials may be made to an animal shelter of your choice in Joe's honor.

Joe donated his body to Washington University to further medical research.
