Willard D. Burris, 90, of Troy, MO, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2021 at Troy Manor. He was born on June 20, 1931 in Piggott, Arkansas to William and Clara (Throghmorton). Willard grew up with his three siblings: Sue, Carolyn and Donald. He met his s weetheart, Anita Seal and two years later, they were joined in holy matrimony on June 17, 1949 in Piggott, Arkansas. The couple moved back to Missouri for Willard's work at Star Mfg. Co. They were blessed with three children: Sharon, Jim and Terry. After working at Star Mfg., he worked for Kroger in the warehouse. They later moved to Camdeton for a few years and later moved to Moscow Mills. Willard was a musician and could play anything with strings. When he was younger, he played in a Blue Grass group called "Clay County Boys" in Arkansas. He also loved to go fishing with family and friends.
