William "Bill" Lee Creech, 80, of Silex, MO, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 1, 2022 at Mercy South Hospital in St. Louis, MO, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on Aril 18, 1942 in Silex to John Delmar and Mary Louise (Achor) Creech. Bill attended a local school with his older brother, Lavern, in Defiance, MO. After high school, Bill moved back to the family farm in Silex. Bill married the love of his life, Judy Chandler on Nov. 4, 1961 and from this blessed union four children were born: Kevin, Jeff, Roger and Cindy. Bill worked many jobs, but mostly as a dump truck driver and later, he owned his own business, C & C Construction. During this time, he would raise houses/ clubhouses (especially after the 1993 flood), move houses and fix foundation issues. There wasn't too much that Bill couldn't do.
There were many things that Bill enjoyed doing, such as : horseback riding, four-wheel riding, old cars, having fish fry's at his shop and the guy's trip to Arkansas, to name a few. Bill was also a charter member of the Lincoln County Moose Lodge # 2599 and enjoyed socializing with his Moose family. Bill did not meet a stranger and seemed to know half of Lincoln County.
On November 23, 2013, Bill married Ann Geeding of Troy, MO. They enjoyed spending time together with family and friends. Bill will be greatly missed and long remembered by all those who knew and loved him.

Bill is survived by his loving family, his devoted wife, Ann Creech of Silex, his children, Kevin (Pam) Creech of Troy, Jeff (Crystal) Creech of Silex, Roger (Mary) Creech of Troy and Cindy (Tommy) Mullen of Silex, with 8 grandchildren, Kelsey Creech, Ryan Creech, Alex Creech, Allison Creech, Kayla Drago, Payton Creech, Chase Mullen and Kiersten Mullen; his brother, Lavern (Dorothy) Creech of Eolia, MO, his brother-in-law: Don (Ginger) Chandler; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Also survived by his extended family/lifelong family friends: Paul Geeding and friend Lisa of Troy, MO, Steve (Janice) Geeding of Silex, Dale (Sheila) Geeding of Troy, Karen Geeding of Troy, along with 9 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Judy Creech, his parents, John Delmar and Mary Louise Creech ,his in-laws Abe and Myrtle Chandler.

Visitation scheduled from 3-8p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 6 , 2022 and also on Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2022 from 9 a.m.- 11 a.m. at the McCoy-Blossom Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1304 Boone St., Troy, MO 63379 (636) 528-8244.

A Memorial service is scheduled on Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2022 at 11 a.m. at the McCoy-Blossom Funeral Homes & Crematory, Troy location. Lincoln County Moose Lodge No. 2599 will open the service, followed by Rev. Richie Rhea officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Silex Presbyterian Church, c/o the McCoy-Blossom Funeral Homes & Crematory, Troy location.
