William Barry Talton, Sr., 82, of Bowling Green, MO, passed away at Mississippi Valley Healthcare, surrounded by his family in prayers.  William was born on August 21, 1941 to Barry and Pauline (Smith) Talton. He attended the local schools , with his siblings. William was united in marriage with Alice (Hobbs). To this union were born:  William, Shawn, Manuel and Marcus.  The couple lived in Bowling Green for many years and William worked at Feeders Grain for over 25 years. After his retirement, he spent time  with the guys at Rog's  Barber Shop daily.  William enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing poker. He loved to spend time with his children and great-grandchildren and extended family. He will be greatly missed and long remembered by all those who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his sons:  William Talton Jr. , Shawn Talton, Manuel Talton and Marcus Talton; six grandchildren; Ezra, Lexi, Misha, Candance, Shawntae and Nicholas; siblings, Bessie McPike, Barbara Talton, Elmer Talton, Calvin Talton and a host of other relatives and friends.

William was preceded in death by his parents, Barry and Pauline Talton, wife, Alice Talton, his son, Brad Hobbs,  two sisters, Dorothy Only and Marjorie Gree, and three brothers, Bobby Talton, Frank Talton and David Talton.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 4, 2023 from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m., at Bowling Green Church of the Nazarene Bowling Green, MO.

Funeral - will also be held on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. - Bowling Green Church of the Nazarene Bowling Green, MO. Pastor Cole Brantstetter to officiate.

Pallbearers will be : Wes Clark ,Steve Clark ,Willie Richardson ,Erin Mayfield ,Mark Morgan ,Roger Milligan ,Austin Orf , Honorary Pallbearers; Tyrone Mcpike ,Bruce Scherder , Manuel Talton , William Edward Talton , Marcus B Talton and Corey L. Bell
